Irnfritz-Messern

Irnfritz-Messern is still largely untouched by mass tourism, making it a true paradise to relax and unwind. Here you can really unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The municipality has a lot to offer in terms of cultural heritage:

Wildberg Castle, the former Fillial Church in Wappoltenreith, the Galgenberg with three stone-walled pillars, the Burgrunine Grub, which was built to protect Wildberg and the medieval high road leading over the Brunner Berg, and the pilgrimage church of Nondorf/Wild.

A visit to the Brick Museum or the exhibition of the famous painter Adolf Blaim is also a must.

Sports activities in Irnfritz can be found on the tennis court and in winter on one of the three cross-country ski trails or on the ice skating rink.

The beautiful area around Messern and the Taffa Valley is particularly suitable for relaxing hikes in unspoiled nature.

On the road from Irnfritz-Ort to Messern there is a beautiful natural pond right on the edge of the forest, where fishing permits are issued by the market town of Irnfritz-Messern.
