Kilb

The market town of Kilb in the district of Melk is tranquilly nestled in the Mostviertel hills at the source of the Sierning. In addition to Kilb itself, the municipality includes the villages of Hauersdorf, Heinrichsberg, Kettenreith, Rametzberg, Teufelsdorf and Umbach. Art & culture in Kilb
The magnificent Kilb parish church is a three-nave Gothic hall church from the 15th century - and is also known as the "Queen of country parish churches" due to its size. The town itself is home to old town houses with exposed frescoes, which also date back to the 15th century. The picturesque Renaissance Grünbühel Castle is still inhabited today. The cultural and event center "K4 - Kunst, Kultur, Kulinarium Kilb" offers a modern and colorful program.
