From the highest villages in the municipality, Schneeberg and Scheib, you have a wonderful view as far as the Alpine foothills on a clear day. The landscape can be explored on several well-marked hiking trails - or by bike or on horseback.

There are three great private museums that are particularly appealing to families for interesting sightseeing tours: Firstly, the "1,000" engines museum and the private "Mineral Room" collection - and secondly, the 180 KIKKER tractor museum of a different kind. It presents a huge private collection of model tractors. Younger guests will particularly enjoy the adjoining pet park.

In Roggenreith, the Haider whisky experience distillery has opened its doors: In Austria's 1st whisky distillery since 1995, visitors can experience the fascination of whisky production up close. A fire and water garden, Celtic tree of life circle and druid playground round off the offer.

The Catholic parish church of St. Nicholas was first mentioned in a document in 1436. The stately Romanesque building was baroqueized at the end of the 18th century. The Roggenreith local chapel - with valuable figures and reverse glass paintings - and the Schneeberg Holy Trinity Chapel with its striking protruding tower also catch the eye.
