Marktgemeinde Warth

As a popular hiking destination, the market town of Warth in the district of Neunkirchen welcomes its young and old vacationers and excursionists. Well-marked hiking trails guide you through wooded landscapes - and offer wonderful views of the Bucklige Welt and the Rax, Schneeberg and Wechsel regions. For cyclists, the Eurovelo 9 runs through the municipal area - idyllically along the Pitten. The gentle and very scenic section of the European long-distance cycle route network leads through meadows and fields. Finally, splashing, swimming and relaxing are on the agenda at Warth's indoor pool with sauna.

Feel-good community Warth: Fairtrade & festivities

With concerts by local music bands and choirs as well as various festivals and markets, tradition, culture and sociability are particularly important in Warth - all year round. A nice fact is that the village has been named a Fairtrade community: since 2007, Warth has been responsible, among other things, for ensuring that fair trade and global issues are addressed - and that sustainably produced products are offered by stores and restaurants.
