Mistelbach
Mistelbach, capital of the administrative district of the same name, is located in the center of the eastern Weinviertel. The district capital, which has a population of just over 13,700, is the seat of all offices and authorities as well as the cultural, economic, educational and medical center of the entire district and beyond. In addition to the town of Mistelbach, the greater municipality of Mistelbach includes the local communities of Ebendorf, Eibesthal, Frättingsdorf, Hörersdorf, Hüttendorf, Kettlasbrunn, Lanzendorf, Paasdorf and Siebenhirten.
Mistelbach is a modern town with tradition and a lot "all around", an unexpected amount of landscape and space, a good urban infrastructure, schools, doctors and stores, cozy wine taverns and sophisticated cultural events - from classical to quirky! That's why traditional events find just as much of a stage in the cultural capital of the Weinviertel as modern ones! Whether it's the International Puppet Theater, the MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach and the nitsch museum, the Dionysus Trail, "Art in Public Space", the cabaret circuit and the Mistelbach summer scene or the historical sights, Mistelbach is full of possibilities and invites you to experience and participate. But it's best to see for yourself...
