Description of the pilgrimage church:
Our Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, popularly known as "Maria am grünen Anger", was elevated to a pilgrimage church in 1975. The two crossed keys in the coat of arms above the entrance gate indicate the church's affiliation to Melk Abbey.
Description of the Viertlerhütte:
In the past, local guardians had the task of watching over the vineyards from a hill before the grape harvest to prevent any theft. In 1993, the only remaining brick hut in the village was renovated by the winegrowers' association. From here you have a beautiful view over the vineyards as far as Vienna, the Schneeberg and the Carpathian Mountains
