Theresienfeld
The market town of Theresienfeld is located in the district of Wiener Neustadt-Land. The village was founded in 1763 by Maria Theresa - as a colonist village for the use of the Wiener Neustädter Heide.
Today, a monument in Theresienfeld commemorates the great empress. There are several cozy restaurants in the village, which also has its own tennis hall. Tradition is very important in Theresienfeld: a dirndl sewing course was initiated in 2013 to mark the 250th anniversary of the municipality, resulting in 20 unique Theresienfeld dirndl creations.
