Wolfsbach

The market town of Wolfsbach is located on the Moststraße, north of Seitenstetten and around 20 km from Amstetten and Steyr. From the Grillenberg in the east, there is a magnificent view of the foothills of the Alps - from the Ötscher to the Traunstein.

In his work "Die Darstellung des Erzherzogtums Österreich unter der Enns", Franz Schweikhardt describes the area around Wolfsbach as an "extremely graceful variety with fields, meadows and small copses, (...) which takes on a romantic character".
