Family ski area of the Wexl Arena St. Corona am Wechsel
The extended drag lift expands the family ski area of the Wexl Arena, with a magic carpet ride, winter adventure land and toboggan run – floodlit!
Child-friendly climbing aids, perfect terrain and just 60 minutes from Vienna – the family ski area, with its smooth slopes and endless fun and adventure, is the ideal choice for your first family skiing holiday.
In Lower Austria’s family ski area, it is mostly the little skiers who are curving across the snow-assured slopes. The new drag lift has been significantly extended, connecting the large slopes, the popular timed course and the extended fun line, which now has even more steep turns and jumps for experienced skiers. The smallest ones can glide up the mountain on conveyor belts in the Magic Carpet Land.

Fun on the slopes and adventure in the snow
The colourful winter adventure land offers lots of play areas, including ones with an igloo and a snow fortress. We also have equipment hire and a winter sports school. If you fancy a bite to eat and a chance to warm up, head to the centrally-located Wexl Lounge restaurant. Whilst enjoying a pleasant breather, parents have a relaxed view of their active children. The floodlight system is in operation on Fridays and Saturdays to 7pm.

Snowshoe rental
The best way to explore the magical winter landscape at the Wechsel is in snowshoes, which can be hired from the Wexl Base for a reasonable price. The tours to the Herrgottschnitzerhütte or the Kampsteiner Schwaig are particularly popular.
Adventure Card as a season ticket
The Winter Adventure Card offers numerous winter adventures at an affordable price. The season ticket is valid for the family ski area with night skiing and the winter adventure area.
