Schloss Schönau Jagdhaus

©Schloss Schönau Management KG

Schönau Castle - a former Habsburg castle with a listed landscape park - is now privately owned. The dilapidated castle and the overgrown park have been lovingly revitalized and are now open to the public to a limited extent. You can spend wonderful vacation days here, rent the entire property exclusively for a celebration - e.g. your wedding - or arrange an exquisite meeting with your most important business partners. The Temple of the Night - the world's only Masonic garden grotto - invites you to an extraordinary experience. There is so much to discover at Schönau Castle!

Enjoy something special on vacation: relax in the midst of the magnificent and historically significant landscape park of Schönau

Find time for the essentials: Peace, relaxation and a feel-good atmosphere at Schönau Castle, 30 kilometers south of Vienna near Baden

An exclusive gem at any time of year: the lavishly revitalized suites and the hunting lodge offer absolute privacy - only guests have access to the extensive castle park

Emperors, kings, princes and archdukes have all appreciated this magical place: King Jérôme Bonaparte spent his years in exile here, Emperor Karl celebrated his 18th birthday in the castle and the "Red Archduchess" held her spiritualist séances in the hunting lodge. Today, Schloss Schönau offers you individual luxury in four apartments in the hunting lodge and five suites in the castle.
