Guided tours of the castle park and the Temple of the Night
Around 1800, Baron Peter von Braun built the Temple of the Night in the middle of the palace park, a unique garden grotto designed largely as an underground labyrinth. Renowned artists such as Salieri and Cherubini composed their own pieces of music for the grotto. The temple is also closely linked to the mythology of The Magic Flute - its original performance is said to have taken place here.
