Pure mountain lodge charm in the heart of the Schneeberg high plateau: The Damböckhaus is located at 1,810 meters above sea level and is about a 30-minute walk from the Schneebergbahn’s summit station. It’s located right on the Hochplateau hiking trail toward the summit cross, making it an ideal stop on the way to the summit.
Inside, cozy dining rooms provide a genuine mountain hut atmosphere, while outside, the outdoor seating area invites guests to take a well-deserved break. To refuel, enjoy hearty mountain hut dishes and sweet pastries.
If you’d like to turn your stop into a mountain hut evening, simply stay overnight. This way, you can enjoy the Schneeberg at a leisurely pace.
