A hike on Hutwisch is very healing. Every day cares melt away as you make your way through the picturesque countryside. You have a chance to collect your thoughts and enjoy the moment, especially in one of the excellent alpine huts.

Hutwisch is the highest point in the hilly Bucklige Welt and not far from the idyllic resort town of Bad Schönau. Hikers who climb the 104 steps to the top of the lookout tower (896 m) are rewarded with fantastic views of the picturesque landscape – just the place to breathe deeply and reflect, to enjoy the here and now.

Explore and enjoy the many hills in the Bucklige Welt on foot, by bicycle or by electric bike. Life slows down here, as you will see on the many hiking trails and in imposing fortress churches, legendary castles and unique open-air museums.
