Description
The 516-metre-high Exelberg is located near the Vienna city limits in the northern Vienna Woods in the municipality of Klosterneuburg.

A country road leads over the mountain from Tulbing (Tulln) to the Wiener Höhenstraße. The mountain became famous through the former Exelberg race, which took place for the first time in 1899. Today, the road over the Exelberg is a popular motorcycle route.
Today, the 109-metre-high telecommunications tower can be seen from afar on the Exelberg.
The Eckbach and the Halterbach, a tributary of the Vienna, have their source here on the mountain.
