Views - wherever you look

If you get out of your car here, you won't know where to look first. In addition to the romantic walls in the middle of the village centre, there is above all the impressive fortified church of the wine-growing community to admire, whose massive tower towers above the roofs of the community. The Teisenhoferhof is also part of the large fortified complex in the centre of Weißenkirchen - which, as the Lower Austrian State Museum, provides a lot of insight into the idyllic Wachau region and also offers space for contemporary interpretations of art and culture.

Tip: The local rolling ferry takes interested visitors to the opposite bank of the Danube to be greeted directly by the "Wachau nose".
