Wolfsthal railroad station is located in the eastern part of Lower Austria and serves as the terminus for Vienna's S7 rapid transit line. Fields and vineyards in the middle of the Schafberg and the Danube characterize the landscape around the municipality of the same name in the industrial district, close to the border with the Slovakian capital Bratislava.
Public sanitary facilities and a ticket machine for purchasing tickets have been set up at the stop. Timetable displays and loudspeaker announcements inform passengers about the current train service. 100 parking spaces and almost 20 bicycle stands are also available.
