12: Up the Leitha

Cycling along rivers like the Leitha is a great idea! On the one hand there are little or no inclines at all. On the other hand, you will find many spots by the river bank that invite you to take dip, explore and play.

The Thermenradweg (thermal cycle path) between Katzelsdorf (starts at the train station or car park at Feldgasse at the entrance) and Bad Erlach has a few wild and romantic spots (for example the bays and gravel banks on the nature trail in Haderswörth) as well as two interesting museums for children, such as the Zinnfigurenwelt Katzelsdorf or the Bauernmuseum Lanzenkirchen.

Distance: 15.6 km
Altitude difference: none
suitable for children aged 10 and up
