Loaf of bread

A sweet taste experience that surprises. Gitti Fally's loaves of bread do not taste savoury, but like chocolate, nuts, cinnamon and icing sugar. How does it achieve the perfect deception? Discover the secret here…


  • 200 g icing sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. rum or cherry liqueur
  • 350 g nuts
  • 120 g grated chocolate
  • 80 g flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 30 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon


Knead the ingredients and let rest in the fridge for about half an hour. Form small balls and roll in a mixture of icing sugar and vanilla sugar. Then bake at 150 °C for approx. 18 minutes.

The mixture is very sticky in the beginning. But in the refrigerator it becomes firm and can then be formed well with moistened hands.
